2017 has been an amazing year and here are some of the good deeds of the year that sought to make the country a better place, all without forgetting to inject a little fun into the mix.

1. Charity Luncheon at 8 Conlay

Some of the city’s most elegant women came to support Puan Sri Toh Ee Siew-Kua and her fellow big-hearted friends in raising money for Angsana Care, an organisation that helps to improve the quality of life for paediatric palliative care patients and their families. Guests had fun dressing up in oriental-themed colours and dresses. Puan Sri Kua, who is a qualified Nordic Walking instructor, went on stage and welcomed everyone to share in her passion for the activity, and spoke of how she will be using her capability to teach others Nordic Walking as a philanthropic project to give back to society.
